IN ENGLISH

Dear international friends,
I hope most of you could come to this great event for me.
I'll try to write here, the basics in English so you can understand what's going on. Sorry if I'm not as funny as in the Spanish part.

1. Welcome to my blog
2. Where will the wedding be?
The ceremony will take place in Carrizo de la Ribera, Leon. It's a village 25 Km away from the capital of the provence, Leon.
It'll be the 25th of July, we think that around 7:30 p.m. (It's a common time for an evening wedding in Spain)

3. How to get there
You have several options. You can fly to Madrid and from there I'll try to get you in touch with any of my friends coming to the wedding by car. You can also take a coach to Leon from Madrid coach station. I'll try to pick you up in Leon because the buses to the village are not that often (6 a days).
There is also another airport in Aviles, Asturias. It's closer than Madrid. You will need to take a bus to Oviedo and from there to Leon. I have a friend living in Oviedo, she doesn't have a car but can help you to take the coach.

4. How will it be?
It's an informal wedding. It'll be outside a chapel in the countryside. Therefore you don't need to wear something smart (i.e. high heels or suit). I'm not wearing a wedding dress so I won't ask you to dress up. ;-)

All over the night we will have some games and shows. If you think you can do anything good enough for a show, just go ahead. We will have a guy playing the bagpipe, poems, tales, and my workmates will do a performance (I don't want to know about what, they are very dangerous when drunk)

5. Where to sleep
Since you are coming from so far away. I'll offer you a room in my parent's house. My brother and sister will move to my grands' and there will be 3 rooms free. So don't worry about that

6. Presents
In Spain there are 3 options:
1- The bride and the groom chose some presents from a shop and people decide from those what they want to give.
2- People give money before the wedding or during the dinner
3- They give a present.
We don't have option number 1 so you can chose whatever you want from the other 2. We will need a lot of things for the house (in case you decide to chose a present). If it's money it's ok. And if you don't want to give us anything I'll be so happy to see you that I don't really care about a present.

7. Are you defenitively coming?
